The New Jersey General Counsel of the Year Awards Program recognizes the unique accomplishments of general counsels, chief legal officers and corporate compliance professionals at New Jersey-based companies and non-profit organizations. Nominations are due March 2, 2012. Qualified legal executives may be nominated by any third party or by themselves. A distinguished panel of judges will review nominations and select finalists. Hundreds of New Jersey’s business and legal executives are expected to attend the Awards Gala on June 5, 2012 at The Palace in Somerset, New Jersey.
Eligibility:
- Nominees must be General Counsels, Chief Legal Officers, or corporate compliance professionals.
- Nominees’ companies must be headquartered in New Jersey, and/or the nominees must be working primarily in New Jersey.
- Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by others.
- Nominees may only be entered in one category.
Award Categories:
Public Company:
- General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer of a Public Company with annual revenues of up to $1 Billion
- General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer of a Public Company with annual revenues of over $1 Billion
- Corporate Compliance Professional, Public Company
Private Company:
- General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer of a Private Company with annual revenues of over $1 Billion
- General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer of a Private Company with annual revenues of up to $1 Billion
- Corporate Compliance Professional, Private Company
Non-profit or Government Organization:
- General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer of a Non-Profit or Governmental Organization
